Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education
• Experience working as a Teacher for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing preferred
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and their implementation
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or other communication modes used by students with hearing loss
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff
• Commitment to cultivating a positive, accessible, and supportive learning setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction to students with hearing impairments, adapting methods and materials to support learning objectives
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in cooperation with the special education team and families
