With only four students spread across both Dallas and Fort Worth campuses, you’ll truly have the chance to deliver personalized instruction and support.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TDHH) in Texas
  • Prior experience working in K-12 educational settings supporting Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
  • Expertise in adapting curriculum, communication strategies, and technologies for students with hearing differences
  • Comfort traveling between multiple campuses within the Dallas-Fort Worth area
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with students, staff, and families

Position Details:

  • Part-time schedule—10 flexible hours per week
  • Low caseload: just four students (3 in Fort Worth across different campuses, 1 in Dallas)
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs
  • Provide direct instruction and consultative services in accordance with IEP goals
  • Serve as a resource to other teachers and staff on best practices for inclusion and accessibility
  • Maintain all required documentation and progress reports
