Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) - Dallas, Texas

Empower students and shape inclusive educational experiences as a skilled Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing. This part-time contract role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact with a very manageable caseload—just four dedicated students spread across the Dallas and Fort Worth area. You'll provide specialized support on multiple campuses, allowing each student to thrive in their academic journey.

Ideal candidates bring expertise in working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, and thrive in a collaborative, flexible environment. Your professionalism and compassion will ensure every learner receives personalized support.

Key Qualifications:

• Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (state requirements apply)
• Experience providing instruction or support services for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students in K–12 settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with school teams, students, and families
• Ability to travel between campuses in the Dallas and Fort Worth areas as needed
• Passion for equity, inclusion, and individualized student development

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instructional services and/or accommodations to a small, focused caseload (4 students)
• Develop and implement IEP goals and related documentation
• Collaborate with school staff to support student access to curriculum and extracurricular activities
• Serve as a resource for teachers and staff working with Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
• Travel between three Fort Worth campuses and one in Dallas, tailoring support to each student
• Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and consult with family members as needed
