Qualifications:
- Certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH)
- Experience working with school-aged students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Strong familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and special education best practices
- Ability to adapt communication methods to meet diverse student needs
- Proficiency in both virtual and in-person instructional settings
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Valid credentials required for assignment in TX
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to DHH students across multiple campuses
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in coordination with school teams
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to foster inclusive classroom environments
- Utilize technology to deliver engaging virtual or onsite lessons
- Offer guidance to families and educators regarding strategies and accommodations
