Qualifications:

• Certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH)
• Experience working with school-aged students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
• Strong familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and special education best practices
• Ability to adapt communication methods to meet diverse student needs
• Proficiency in both virtual and in-person instructional settings
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Valid credentials required for assignment in TX

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to DHH students across multiple campuses
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in coordination with school teams
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to foster inclusive classroom environments
• Utilize technology to deliver engaging virtual or onsite lessons
• Offer guidance to families and educators regarding strategies and accommodations
