Make a meaningful impact supporting students across schools near Daly City, CA by leveraging your expertise as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing. This contract opportunity will see you providing vital support throughout the district on an itinerant basis from August 11, 2026, through June 2, 2027. Collaborate in a primarily consultative capacity, empowering students from Early Childhood through crucial transition years.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid DHH (Deaf/Hard of Hearing) teaching credential
  • Active CTC (California Teaching Credential)
  • Prior experience in educational settings as a DHH Teacher preferred
  • Strong consultative and communication skills
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments
  • Ability to adapt to a variety of schools and work independently districtwide

Position Details & Responsibilities:

  • Itinerant role—travel to multiple school sites (primarily in the Richmond area of San Francisco)
  • Provide districtwide support for students EC-Transition in a consultative role
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement effective learning strategies
  • Assess the needs of Deaf/Hard of Hearing students and adapt resources or instruction as necessary
  • Maintain comprehensive records and documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning
  • Engage in ongoing professional development as needed
