Desired Qualifications:

  • Certified as a Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing
  • Experience or training in Deaf / Hard of Hearing education, K-12
  • Ability to adapt instructional strategies to individual student needs
  • Comfortable traveling between nearby school sites during the workday
  • Collaborative spirit and strong communication skills
  • Eligibility for out-of-state licensure (if not currently licensed in-state)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and small-group instruction to students who are Deaf / Hard of Hearing
  • Work closely with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate services
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals for each student
  • Engage with families and caregivers to support student progress
  • Travel between sites, all located within a short commute
