This contract opportunity focuses on serving early childhood students (birth to age 5) within a dynamic educational setting, providing essential support and instruction to help each young learner thrive.

Currently accepting both full-time and part-time applicants, this role offers you the chance to truly impact the lives of children in their most formative years. Schedules for part-time positions are flexible within a range of 15 to 25 hours a week. This is an onsite-only role, placing you directly in the heart of the learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing or qualifying credentials
  • Demonstrated experience or specialized training with early childhood (birth-5 years) populations
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Passion for empowering children with hearing differences to reach their full potential

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver individualized instruction for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as appropriate
  • Collaborate closely with parents, therapists, and school staff to support comprehensive educational outcomes
  • Foster an inclusive, accessible classroom atmosphere
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for hearing assistive technology and language development
