Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TDHH)
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong understanding of auditory/oral, cued speech, and total communication approaches
• Ability to assess and adapt curriculum materials to meet diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication skills with students, families, and staff
• Flexibility and adaptability within changing classroom and caseload environments
• Commitment to student advocacy and inclusive practices

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in classroom or small group settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure meaningful access to instruction
