Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher - Fort Bliss, TX

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) teaching license for Tennessee
• Solid understanding of instructional techniques for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Experience providing remote or virtual educational services
• Familiarity with high school curriculum and accommodations for DHH students
• Strong communication, organization, and technology skills
• Professional, reliable, and collaborative work style

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver virtual instructional and consultative sessions to support the student’s academic and communication needs
• Provide direct services according to the IEP: 160 minutes per year, delivered in 20-minute segments 8 times annually
• Collaborate with school personnel, ancillary service providers, and parents as required
• Document service delivery and progress per district and state guidelines
• Utilize digital resources and innovative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and success
• Maintain compliance with all reporting and confidentiality requirements
