This contract position begins August 10, 2026, running through June 4, 2027, and offers a hands-on, onsite opportunity to work across several school sites in the Fremont and surrounding areas. The ideal educator is experienced in California school settings, highly organized, and excels at communication while managing a diverse caseload.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid, active California certification or license for Deaf/Hard of Hearing teaching
  • Previous experience in California schools is highly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability to manage itinerant assignments
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Comfortable working in person across multiple locations, replacing a virtual DHH role

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct, in-person instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
  • Serve multiple campuses as an itinerant teacher, adapting to varied caseloads
  • Collaborate effectively with general and special education staff, families, and support personnel
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Foster inclusive learning environments that promote student engagement and development
