Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
  • Experience working with children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in a school environment.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working autonomously across multiple campuses.
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction and support to a small group of students (four in total), adapting strategies to individual hearing needs and learning styles.
  • Travel between campuses in Fort Worth and Dallas as required to deliver in-person services.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to ensure each student receives appropriate accommodations and achieves meaningful progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student performance, progress toward goals, and service delivery.
  • Advocate for student access, participation, and success across educational environments.
