Inspire and support students as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing in a rewarding part-time contract role. This unique opportunity offers a small caseload—just four students—allowing you to make a meaningful impact with individualized attention. You'll work across both Fort Worth and Dallas campuses, serving three students at different sites in Fort Worth and one student in Dallas. With only 3 hours required per week, this position is ideal for someone seeking a flexible, impactful way to contribute to student success while balancing other professional or personal commitments.
We’re looking for a reliable backup candidate to ensure our students continue receiving exceptional services.
Desired Qualifications: • Valid certification and credentials for teaching Deaf/Hard of Hearing students • Strong understanding of diverse communication methods used by students who are deaf or hard of hearing • Ability to travel between multiple campuses in the Fort Worth and Dallas areas • Excellent organizational and communication skills • Collaborative attitude for working with school staff, families, and other professionals
Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct instruction to a small number of students across multiple campuses • Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) • Adapt teaching strategies and materials to accommodate unique learning needs • Serve as a resource for classroom teachers regarding modifications and communication strategies • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
