Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher - Grand Prairie, TX

Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a Teacher of the Deaf or Hard of Hearing. This contract, part-time opportunity allows you to work closely with a small caseload—just four students across the Fort Worth and Dallas areas. With only 10 hours per week, you’ll have the flexibility to focus on individualized support while balancing your other professional or personal responsibilities.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current certification as a Teacher for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
• Experience delivering specialized instruction to students with hearing differences within a school setting
• Strong collaboration skills to work with teachers, support staff, students, and families
• Ability to travel between multiple campuses in the Fort Worth and Dallas area
• Commitment to inclusive education and individualized learning

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to a caseload of four students with hearing impairments
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Serve as a resource for school staff and families regarding best practices and accommodations
• Utilize effective strategies, technology, and communication methods tailored to each student’s needs
• Advocate for students’ access to learning and equal opportunities within school environments
