For the upcoming 2026-2027 school year, multiple full-time contract positions have opened across several school locations serving K-12 students. As a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing, you will have the chance to help transform learning for students across various grade levels. Implement your skills in individualized and group settings while working closely with general education staff, families, and service providers to ensure each student’s needs are fully addressed.

Key Qualifications:

  • Certification and/or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) required
  • Previous teaching experience supporting deaf/hard of hearing students, preferably with K-12
  • Solid knowledge of current instructional strategies, deaf education best practices, and assistive technology
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with interdisciplinary teams and families
  • Flexible and adaptable to working in multiple school locations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing in accordance with IEP goals
  • Consult with general education teachers, staff, and families to support inclusive practices and access to curriculum
  • Develop lessons tailored to each student’s communication modality and learning style
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, updating IEPs and maintaining accurate records
  • Advocate for students’ needs and access to the full educational experience
