Make a meaningful impact supporting students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in a part-time, contract role located near Irving, TX. Provide specialized instruction and advocacy for a small caseload—just four students—across three campuses in Fort Worth and one in Dallas. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing seeking a flexible schedule and a low caseload environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (required)
  • Experience working in school settings with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
  • Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and student goal setting
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, service providers, and families
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel between Fort Worth and Dallas campuses

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction and support services to four assigned students
  • Travel to multiple campuses each week as needed (3 campuses in Fort Worth; 1 in Dallas)
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in alignment with student needs
  • Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers to provide accommodations and resources
  • Maintain thorough documentation of progress and any required reporting
  • Advocate for the rights and needs of students within educational settings
