Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) - Irving, Texas

Step into a meaningful contract role supporting students as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing. In this flexible, part-time position (10 hours weekly), you'll make a positive difference on two vibrant campuses, empowering a small caseload of just four students across both Fort Worth and Dallas. Your week will include travel between campuses, working with three students in Fort Worth and one in Dallas. You'll collaborate with educators and families to ensure each student's unique needs are met, often tailoring instructional approaches for the greatest impact.

Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing, preferably in a school setting
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and providing accommodations
• Commitment to flexible travel between multiple campuses in Fort Worth and Dallas
• Strong communication skills, compassion, and adaptability
• Certification in Deaf Education (or eligibility to obtain) highly valued
