Key Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification for Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) or eligibility to obtain one
- Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing in educational settings
- Strong knowledge of instructional strategies, accommodations, and assistive technology
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL), Signed Exact English (SEE), or other communication modalities
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with diverse teams
- Passion for student success and inclusivity
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and support to students with hearing impairments, both in individual and group settings
- Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet student needs
