Soliant is looking for an enthusiastic Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher to join a dynamic school team for the 2026–2027 school year north of Austin, TX. This full-time itinerant role serves PK–12th grade students, delivering essential support that helps students thrive academically and socially. Ideal candidates are flexible, proactive, and passionate about expanding communication access for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Position Details:

  • Position: Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHH)
  • School Year: 2026–2027
  • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Grade Levels: PK–12th
  • Setting: Itinerant position serving students across three campuses
  • Provide direct and consultative services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, special education teams, and families
  • Support access to curriculum through communication strategies, accommodations, and assistive technology

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
  • Valid Texas teaching certificate in Deaf Education
  • Completion of an approved Educator Preparation Program (EPP) with passing exam scores
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Experience preferred, but not required
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply!

Pay: $40–$48 per hour
(Pay is negotiable based on certification level, years of experience, and degree level)
