Desired Background & Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
- Demonstrated experience working with students across ages and varied communication needs.
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting curriculum for auditory access.
- Strong skills in facilitating communication development—spoken language, ASL, or total communication.
- Commitment to collaboration with general educators, families, and related service staff.
- Knowledge of assistive technology and accommodations for students with hearing loss.
Role Highlights & Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction and support tailored to students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing, focusing on language, academic skills, and self-advocacy.
- Develop and implement strategies that support auditory access and inclusive learning.
