Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher - Manchester, NH

This part-time position seeks a highly qualified Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to provide specialized support to K-12 students within a district located between two school sites in New Hampshire. The role involves onsite work with a caseload spanning Brookline and Hollis, requiring a commitment of 10-12 hours per month from the start date through June 17, 2026.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering educational support tailored to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across kindergarten through 12th grade
• Collaborating with school staff and families to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Providing assessments, direct instruction, and consultative services aligned with student needs
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with district policies
• Participating in meetings and professional development as required

Qualifications and experience:

• Active New Hampshire licensure and certification specific to teaching students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
• Proven school-based experience working within K-12 education settings
• Must be able to complete district fingerprinting requirements
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across multiple school sites
