Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid certification as a Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing
• Experience working in educational settings, preferably with K-12 students

• Ability to adapt lessons and materials for students with varying needs
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to maximize student participation and progress
• Provide direct and indirect instructional support to students, adapting curriculum as needed
• Advocate for student needs and help build awareness regarding hearing differences within the school community
• Maintain regular communication with families about student progress and resources
