Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education (DHH)
  • Experience working with K-12 students in an educational setting
  • Familiarity with itinerant teaching and ability to travel between school sites as needed
  • Ability to adapt instruction for diverse learning needs and levels
  • Special education teaching license preferred if interested in expanded/full-time role
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative services to DHH students across various school sites
  • Develop and implement IEP-driven instructional plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to enhance student access and success
  • Utilize technology and assistive devices to foster inclusive environments
  • Monitor student progress and document outcomes
  • Maintain up-to-date records in compliance with district and state requirements
