Key Qualifications:

  • Strong background in creating differentiated lesson plans tailored to individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Experience delivering direct instruction and consultative services for students with hearing impairments
  • Excellent communication and advocacy skills in a school-based setting
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, families, and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction, adaptation of curriculum, and support services to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to measure language, communication, and academic progress
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to integrate accommodations and modifications
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development and implementation of educational plans
