A part-time position is available for a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to provide specialized instruction and support for students within a K-12 caseload. This role requires 10-12 hours per month, servicing students between two school sites located in the Nashua, NH area. The contract begins ASAP and continues through June 17, 2026. Onsite work is mandatory, with the exact location to be determined between Brookline and Hollis school sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to develop and implement effective educational plans
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and regulations
- Support communication and social skills development for students with hearing loss
Qualifications:
- Active licensure and certification in New Hampshire as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
- Previous school-based experience working with K-12 students
- Must be willing to service the full K-12 caseload
- District fingerprints clearance required
- Availability for an interview via Zoom prior to placement
