Desired Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification with endorsement in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education
• Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing in a school setting
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or other communication methods used by students
• Strong knowledge of audiology equipment and assistive listening technology
• Skilled in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to create supportive and accessible classroom environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction aligned with IEPs and state curriculum standards
• Adapt lesson materials and teaching strategies for diverse learner needs
• Facilitate language development and communication skills
• Advocate for students’ access to classroom resources and activities
