Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid teaching certification in Deaf or Hard of Hearing education
  • Prior experience working in schools with Deaf or Hard of Hearing students
  • Strong grasp of individualized instruction and educational technology
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • ASL proficiency is highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons adapted for students' unique needs
  • Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, therapists, and families
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Provide guidance for classroom modifications and accommodations
