Desired Qualifications:

• Current certification to teach Deaf/Hard of Hearing students (state-specific credentials may be required)
• Strong knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) and assistive listening technologies
• Previous experience in a school-based or educational setting preferred
• Commitment to individualized education plans and student development
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement tailored instructional plans for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students
• Support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth through accessible teaching methods
• Work with multidisciplinary school teams to adapt curriculum and facilitate classroom integration
• Provide consultation and advocacy for students and families, ensuring equitable access to resources
• Maintain documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
