DHH Teacher | Omaha, Nebraska

This rewarding contract opportunity is based near Omaha, NE and focuses on serving young learners in an onsite environment from August 13, 2026, through May 27, 2027. You'll collaborate with a dedicated team, utilize innovative strategies, and make a meaningful impact in a dynamic school community.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
• Experience or strong knowledge in educational techniques for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
• Familiarity with K-12 curriculum and IEP development
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with classroom teachers, therapists, and families
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and accessible learning environment

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and tailor educational plans for students across all grade levels (K-12)
• Adapt materials and teaching methods to meet unique student needs
• Work with classroom teams to implement and monitor accommodations and modifications
• Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and progress reviews
• Provide consultative support to staff and families on best practices for DHH education
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant guidelines
