Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
- Experience creating and implementing IEPs tailored to Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues
- Familiarity with age-appropriate assessment and instructional strategies
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver differentiated instruction to meet the unique needs of Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
- Collaborate with general and special education staff to support students' academic and social-emotional growth
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
- Utilize assistive technology and visual communication tools
- Provide guidance and resources to families to encourage learning beyond the classroom
