This full-time, contract position runs from August 13th, 2026, through May 26th, 2027, and involves delivering tailored DHH services both virtually and onsite. Your expertise will foster inclusive learning environments, empower student growth, and help fulfill educational goals for diverse learners.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education
- Experience supporting students with a range of hearing abilities
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or other communication modalities used by DHH populations
- Familiarity with virtual and onsite service delivery models
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of current best practices in adaptive instruction for DHH students
- Commitment to upholding individualized education programs (IEPs) and student-centered strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ communication and learning needs to develop and implement personalized instructional plans
- Deliver direct and consultative DHH support services both onsite and virtually as needed
- Collaborate effectively with general educators, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Document services, monitor progress, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Advocate for accessibility, inclusion, and awareness within multi-campus settings
