Key Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification for Deaf/Hard of Hearing services in Maine or eligibility to obtain
- Prior experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, preferably in a school setting
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and accessibility strategies
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or other communication modalities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and fellow educators
Key Responsibilities:
