Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
  • Proven experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings

  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills, working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to create and adapt Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and review IEPs in collaboration with families, staff, and support professionals

  • Partner with general education teachers to ensure inclusive practices and promote an accessible learning environment
  • Communicate regularly with families, keeping them informed of student progress and school events
