Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
  • Demonstrated experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing in educational settings
  • Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and classroom staff
  • Effective communication and advocacy for accessible learning
  • Familiarity with American Sign Language is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction and support to students with hearing differences at both junior high and elementary sites
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals tailored to each student’s needs
