You’ll work with a diverse group of learners and collaborate closely with dedicated professionals, utilizing both virtual and onsite formats depending on student needs.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification or credential in Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) education required
  • Experience working as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing in school settings is preferred
  • Strong communication and advocacy skills for supporting DHH students in various environments
  • Familiarity with educational technology and willingness to deliver services both onsite and virtually
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple school locations
  • Commitment to tailored instruction and IEP implementation for DHH students

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative DHH services to students across five campuses
  • Deliver specialized instruction, adapting teaching strategies to meet each student’s unique needs
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and other service providers to support student growth
  • Complete required documentation and maintain detailed records for student progress and compliance
  • Attend IEP meetings, contribute to goal setting, and ensure accommodations are effectively implemented

This is a full-time contract position (37.5 hours weekly), scheduled consistently with the school year calendar. The role combines onsite presence with opportunities to provide virtual support, maximizing your impact within the district.
