Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
  • Experience working with school-aged students with hearing impairments
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Familiarity with assistive hearing devices, sign language, and auditory/oral communication methods
  • Committed to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom culture

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
  • Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs
  • Conduct assessments to monitor and support student progress
