Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) credential/license in California
- Previous experience supporting DHH students in school settings within the state is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and educational staff
- Ability to travel between school locations as an itinerant teacher
- Demonstrated organizational skills and clear, consistent communication
- Must be available for on-site, in-person work; virtual/remote options are not available for this position
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative DHH educational services to students at multiple campuses
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized educational plans to promote academic success
- Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and administration to facilitate accessible learning environments
- Support staff and families by providing resources, strategies, and ongoing communication
- Maintain documentation and comply with state and district guidelines
This contract position begins August 10, 2026, and continues through June 4, 2027, totaling 37.5 hours each week during the academic year.
