Exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who is passionate about teaching students who are deaf or hard of hearing! This full-time, on-site contract role offers a chance to make a meaningful difference for a dynamic group of students during the school year from August 31, 2026, to June 4, 2027. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 3:30pm, providing consistent hours and the ability to positively impact young learners every day.

You’ll be serving a caseload of 22 students, with a range of needs: three students are completely deaf and require intensive support, while the rest are hearing impaired with services that vary between direct instruction and consultative support. Travel between school sites is an essential part of the job, delivering tailored educational services without the added responsibility of case management.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field
  • Valid teaching certification for Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) students
  • Demonstrated experience working with children who are deaf, hard of hearing, or hearing impaired
  • Skill in delivering both direct and consultative educational services
  • Strong ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate with school staff and families
  • Flexibility and organizational skills for managing a multi-site schedule
