Virtual Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher in KY

An opportunity is available for a full-time Teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing students to provide telehealth services. This role supports educational accessibility through remote instruction and specialized intervention, ensuring students receive meaningful learning experiences tailored to their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver remote instruction and support for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
• Collaborate with educational staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and tailored learning strategies
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and professionals to ensure comprehensive support
• Maintain documentation related to student caseload and services provided

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
• Experience providing instruction or therapy via telehealth platforms
• Strong understanding of the educational and communication needs of Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
• Ability to develop and implement effective teaching strategies in a remote learning environment
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
