A contract position is available for a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing specializing in telehealth services. This role supports two students requiring consult services, totaling approximately 8 hours per month.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering consultative support via teletherapy to students with hearing impairments
- Collaborating with families and educational staff to develop and implement individualized strategies
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting recommendations as needed
- Maintaining accurate documentation and communicating effectively with all stakeholders
Desired qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
- Experience providing teletherapy or telehealth services in educational settings
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Familiarity with assistive technologies and intervention strategies for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
This position is based in Chesterfield, NH, and offers a flexible schedule accommodating contracted hours.
