A contract opportunity is available for a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing specializing in Early Childhood (EC) caseloads, delivering services through telehealth. This role offers the chance to work with young learners who are deaf or hard of hearing, providing specialized instruction and support tailored to their unique communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver telehealth services focusing on early childhood students with hearing impairments.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with families and educational staff to facilitate effective communication strategies.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional approaches accordingly.
- Provide support and advocacy for students’ hearing-related educational needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certified Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
- Experience working with Early Childhood caseloads preferred.
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms and remote instructional methods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
