Virtual Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher in NC

A contract position is available for a Teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) education, providing telehealth services. The role requires delivering specialized instruction and support to students with hearing impairments through virtual platforms, contributing to their academic and communication development.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting virtual, individualized and group instruction tailored to the needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Utilizing telehealth technologies to deliver effective educational services.
• Collaborating with families and educational professionals to support student progress.
• Monitoring and evaluating student performance and adapting strategies accordingly.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of sessions and student progress.

Desired qualifications:

• Certification in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education or related specialization.
• Experience with telehealth service delivery in an educational context.
