A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing specializing in teletherapy services. This role provides consultative support to two students requiring specialized assistance through telehealth methods, totaling approximately 8 hours per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver consultative support and specialized instruction to students with hearing impairments via teletherapy.
- Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement individualized plans tailored to students’ needs.
- Monitor student progress and adjust approaches to maximize learning outcomes.
- Communicate with families and school personnel to provide guidance and resources related to deaf/hard of hearing education.
- Document services provided and maintain compliance with educational standards and confidentiality guidelines.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
- Demonstrated experience in teletherapy delivery of educational services to students with hearing impairments.
