- Valid teaching certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) or eligibility for certification
- Experience working with school-aged students facing hearing impairments
- Strong understanding of language acquisition and communication modalities for DHH learners
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent collaborative skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities
