Qualifications and Experience Sought:

  • Valid certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI)
  • Professional experience within school settings supporting K-12 students preferred
  • Knowledge of braille, assistive technology, low vision devices, and adaptive strategies
  • Comfortable collaborating with special education teams, teachers, and families
  • Strong communication, organizational, and advocacy skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with visual impairments
