Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired or similar credentials
• Experience working with visually impaired students (preferred)
• Ability to provide direct, in-home educational services (no teletherapy)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to travel locally

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-person instruction for one student two times monthly (1 hour per session)
• Evaluate student needs and develop individualized learning strategies
• Collaborate with families to support student progress
• Maintain session documentation and report on educational outcomes
• Adjust approaches as caseload increases or student goals evolve
