Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired or related field
- Experience supporting students with visual impairments in educational settings
- Expertise in Orientation & Mobility instruction
- Passion for collaborative work and training school staff
- Adaptability and a drive for professional growth
Responsibilities:
- Provide 570 minutes of vision services to students
- Lead fall training sessions for school staff, sharing best practices in visual impairment education
- Deliver 300 minutes of specialized Orientation & Mobility instruction
- Adapt lessons and support plans to maximize student engagement and independence
- Document student progress and collaborate with educational teams
