Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired or related field
• Experience supporting students with visual impairments in educational settings
• Expertise in Orientation & Mobility instruction
• Passion for collaborative work and training school staff
• Adaptability and a drive for professional growth

Responsibilities:

• Provide 570 minutes of vision services to students
• Lead fall training sessions for school staff, sharing best practices in visual impairment education
• Deliver 300 minutes of specialized Orientation & Mobility instruction
• Adapt lessons and support plans to maximize student engagement and independence
• Document student progress and collaborate with educational teams
