Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative instructional services to students with visual impairments, ensuring access to core curriculum and adapted materials.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students’ functional vision and needs.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, families, and other teachers.
• Provide orientation and mobility training or collaborate with specialists as needed.

• Regularly monitor and report on student progress, making data-driven recommendations for interventions or modifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid state certification/licensure as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI).
