Qualifications & Experience

• Valid certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI)
• Experience working with K-12 students (both direct and consultative services)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Adaptability and commitment to supporting students’ unique learning needs

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect instructional services to a caseload of 8 K-12 students with visual impairments
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education staff, families, and other specialists
• Maintain accurate progress records and deliver assessments as needed
• Offer recommendations for adaptive materials and technology
• Weekly hours: 15-20, from August 11 to May 20
