Desired Qualifications:

• Active GA Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) License (required)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or related field
• Experience working with students with visual impairments in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Adaptable and organized, with a passion for supporting student achievement

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and adapt curriculum to meet individual student needs
• Work closely with classroom teachers and education teams to develop and implement IEPs
• Conduct assessments of students’ visual and academic abilities
• Advocate for accessible educational materials and resources
• Support families and staff with training and resources as needed
• Travel between school sites as assigned
