Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) | Corona, California

A full-time opportunity is available for a Visually Impaired Teacher skilled in Braille instruction, located in the San Jacinto area near Corona, CA. This contract position offers the chance to support students with visual impairments by providing specialized educational services tailored to their unique learning needs.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction to students with visual impairments, including Braille literacy and orientation and mobility skills.
• Develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet the specific requirements of visually impaired learners.

• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.
• Provide training and support on assistive technologies designed for visual impairments.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Certification or substantial experience as a Visually Impaired Teacher.
