You’ll work in a highly supportive environment, either onsite or remotely, developing and delivering individualized educational programs. Your expertise will empower both students and fellow educators to create accessible and inclusive classrooms.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Certification in Visual Impairment Education
• Teaching background with visually impaired students (schools setting preferred)
• Familiarity with current instructional strategies, Braille, and adaptive technologies
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with general and special education teachers
• Ability to adapt materials and modify classroom environments for accessibility

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction to visually impaired students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Coordinate with general education and special education teachers to implement accommodations and modifications
• Assist in accessibility planning for classroom materials and technology
• Maintain accurate student progress records and participate in IEP meetings
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for teachers, staff, and families
