In this itinerant role, you’ll enhance your skill set by supporting both students and staff, mentoring fellow educators, advocating for essential resources, and fostering best practices in vision-related services. Qualifications:

• Active Professional Educator’s License (PEL) with the correct endorsement for teaching visually impaired students
• Master’s Degree required
• At least 5 years of direct, school-based experience
• Must complete fingerprinting for credentialing

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Vision Related Services Leader, guiding and supporting the vision department
• Mentor, coach, and provide training to staff (new and returning)
• Deliver vision services to a caseload spanning pre-K through transition-age students
• Advocate for and help secure resources vital to the success of your colleagues
• Travel between multiple school sites to provide comprehensive support
