Working as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) or Sign Language Interpreter in this dynamic school environment will expose you to diverse teaching practices and innovative leadership. Over the course of the 2026-2027 academic year, you’ll work across elementary, middle, and high school levels, gaining valuable versatility for your resume. Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI)
  • Experience or training as a Sign Language Interpreter is a plus
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload spanning elementary through high school
  • Familiarity with conducting both formal and informal student assessments
  • Skilled in preparing and participating in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver instruction and adapt materials to meet individualized learning needs
  • Assess, track, and document student progress
  • Participate in ARD meetings and collaborate closely with educational staff, families, and district personnel
  • Travel between school sites as needed
