Qualifications:

• Active certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
• Experience using a range of instructional methods tailored to students with visual impairments
• Ability to work with students from elementary through high school levels
• Proficiency in sign language or as a Sign Language Interpreter (preferred)
• Effective communicator and collaborator

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized instruction for visually impaired students
• Conduct both formal and informal assessments of student achievement
• Maintain accurate records and prepare for ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings
