This full-time assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through May 27, 2027. With a traditional Monday through Friday schedule and manageable caseloads across elementary, middle, and high school environments, you’ll gain invaluable experience while also enjoying time to experience all the area offers.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Certified as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (VI Teacher certification required)
• Experience providing instruction to visually impaired students across K-12 settings
• Familiarity with Sign Language Interpreting a plus
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies and materials to individual student needs
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Deliver specialized instruction to visually impaired students as outlined by district standards
• Conduct formal and informal student assessments to monitor progress and determine needs
• Prepare and participate in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings
• Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and families
• Travel between campus sites as needed to cover diverse caseloads
