Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as an itinerant Teacher for the Visually Impaired. This position offers a dynamic schedule for the 2026-2027 school year and involves working across 10 campuses on alternating days, with a dedicated office located at the administration annex. Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification in Visual Impairment (TVI).
• Experience working with students with visual impairments preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate services across multiple locations.
• Comfortable traveling between campuses and adapting to varied school environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to partner with teachers, staff, and families.
• Ability to create and implement individualized instructional strategies and accommodations.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students who are visually impaired across all grade levels.
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to ensure students’ needs are met effectively.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s requirements.
• Consult with school staff to offer guidance on accessibility and classroom modifications.
• Maintain accurate records regarding progress, goals, and service delivery.
• Travel between assigned campuses on an alternating schedule, utilizing your office at the admin annex as a base.
